Wheel loaders

A wheel loader (also called shovel or shovel loader) is a multifunctional piece of equipment that can be used for various types of work on paved or compacted surfaces, such as:

• load-and-carry
• loading lorries
• processing sand
• steel plate handling
• maintenance of steel plate roads

Various (exchangeable) attachments are used for this.

Martens en Van Oord has wheel loaders weighing between 20 and 35 tonnes. A number of machines also have a 3D machine operating system.
