Chutes

Chutes are ideal for the interim storage of bulk materials. When unloading vessels, a peak often occurs at the start. Production flow rate is often a lot less at the end.

The use of chutes allows these fluctuations during the unloading process to be absorbed. Moreover, lorries or dumpers can be loaded very quickly with a chute. Martens en Van Oord also has a mobile chute. This chute can be folded up and transported on a lorry. The use of conveyor belts is a highly efficient method for transporting large bulk streams over short distances.
